In a rapidly changing 21st century, where does Great Britain stand in the world? Do the Syria vote and EU referendum show a country drawing back within its borders? How is the UK perceived in Washington and elsewhere? And what, perhaps most important of all, do the British people really want?
On October 27, the Project for Study of the 21st Century (PS21) is delighted to be launching the publication of its first electronic and print book: “Facing Facts — Is Britain’s Influence Diminishing?” by Daily Telegraph Europe editor Peter Foster. In it, he reflects on a decade reporting from New Delhi, Beijing and Washington DC and warns that the UK may be drifting towards irrelevance.

Tom Bruxner (chair): former British Army officer, PS21 Global Fellow
Peter Foster: Europe editor, Daily Telegraph
Air Vice Marshal Michael Harwood rtd: Former RAF officer and defence attache to Washington DC
Catherine Fieschi: Chief founding director of Counterpoint, former head of Demos
