London Event February 4 – Careers in Foreign Affairs

PS21 Careers in Foreign Policy

Tuesday, February 4th, from 06:30 p.m., Jeremy Bentham Room (JBR), University College London, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT

PS21 is pairing with the UCL Diplomacy in Action Society to bring you a careers focused discussion on the foreign policy sector. We have assembled a panel of young experts to talk about their experiences in work, opinions on the sector as a whole and to provide advice to those aspiring to work in foreign policy. The event is an incredible opportunity for students to engage with experts who have recently left university.

Speakers:

Sandrine Tiller – Strategic Adviser for MSF UK.

Kyle Parks – Civil Servant and Diplomatic Service Fast Streamer.

Leon Man – FCO pre-posting language training stage and Vice Chair of the FCO Wellbeing Network.

Martina Fuchs – Journalist (formerly at CNN and Reuters) and expert on China business.

Alexander Hammond – Policy Adviser for Institute of Economic Affairs.

Doors open at 6pm, the event will begin at 6:30pm. Please bring photo ID.

Tickets will be available to book through Eventbrite soon.
